STI Celebrates National Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day
On April 23, 2009, the sound of children and language could be heard throughout the hallways of Schreiber Translations, Inc.’s (STI) corporate offices. This year STI participated in the National “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day”. Children ranging in age from five to thirteen were introduced to STI’s history, language and international culture through lessons, activities and games. By the end of the day each child had written his/her name in 6 different languages and created posters (shown below).
STI HR Manager, Gayle Levin, and Mother of one of the day’s visiting children had this to say, “What an amazing opportunity to teach our children about the translation industry as we celebrate the diversity and multiculturalism of our employees!”
