Croatian and Croatian Translation
The Croatian language is a South Slavic language spoken in Croatia, parts of Bosnia-Herzegovina, and the Croatian diaspora, such as communities in Italy and Austria. The modern Croatian language derived from a combination of Croatian Church Slavonic and the vernacular language.
Croatian was previously grouped together with Serbian as "Serbo-Croatian," and while the languages (along with Bosnian) are virtually identical after the Communist Yugoslav government in the post-World War II era attempted to forge the two, various political, religious and cultural factors since independence have once again led to its revival as its own language.
Croatian is typically written using the Croatian alphabet, a variant of the Latin alphabet that is only used for the Croatian, Bosnian, and Serbian languages.
We can offer services from English to any language and from any language to English. If you do not see your language listed here, please contact Schreiber Translations for a personal assessment of your language project. We can help!
