Desktop Publishing
Desktop Publishing (DTP) services involve taking your existing English electronic files, in DTP programs such as Adobe InDesign, PageMaker, Framemaker, QuarkXpress, etc. and replacing the English text with the foreign language text in such a manner that layout of the translated version mirrors the original. STI can then provide the resulting foreign language material in a format consistent with your needs (e.g. printable files, camera-ready hard copy, etc.).
Formatting
Basic formatting services cover material to be delivered in basic word processing applications, but with complicated or unusual layouts.
Presentations
We take your English Microsoft PowerPoint or Corel Presentation files and recreate them in any language you choose. If you do not have the capability to read or present in the given language, we can provide the hard copy output of your choice, including laser-printed and transparencies, or printable files.
Other Language Related Services
Currency Conversions
When requested, we provide conversions of foreign monetary amounts to United States of America (USA) currency and vice versa, based upon the monetary exchange rate applicable on the date of service or document date. Currency conversions may include monetary amounts on billing statements, invoices, expense reports, financials, annual reports and other correspondence.
Measurement Conversions
We also provide, upon request, conversions of all metric measurements to the United States measurement system and vice versa. These measurements are gleaned from any type of text, the appropriate conversion factor is determined and the mathematical conversion is carried out.
