Morry Schreiber provides document translations services to the Federal Bureau of Investigation and U.S. Department of State. His job is to translate Spanish and Hebrew documents.
1979
Morry Schreiber is contacted by President Jimmy Carter’s Administration to translate Spanish letters written to the President.
1980
Morry Schreiber and a couple of other translators provide translation support for the U.S. Department of Defense during the Cold War.
1981
Morry Schreiber purchases his first Classified Secure Safe for U.S. Department of Defense documents. This same year, he bid on his first U.S. Government contract with the U.S. Department of Justice, OSI division for translation services. He won the contract.
1982
Morry Schreiber bids on the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office translation contract. He won the contract.
1992
Schreiber Translations Incorporates.
1993
Morry Schreiber’s daughter Marla Schulman joins Schreiber Translations, Inc.
1998
Morry Schreiber steps aside as President of Schreiber Translations, Inc. and starts Schreiber Publishing, Inc.
1999
Marla Schulman becomes President of Schreiber Translations, Inc.
2000
Schreiber Translations, Inc. joins the GSA schedule.
2005
Mit Shattuck joins Schreiber Translations, Inc. as Chief Operating Officer.
2007
Marla Schulman is elected President of the Association of Language Companies.
