Luxembourgish and Luxembourgish Translation

This is a West Germanic language spoken in Luxembourg, where it is one of three official languages (the other two being German and French). It is an example of a Moselle Franconian language, which is a group of High German dialects. Although primarily considered to be a dialect of German, Luxembourgish also contains a great deal of French influence, although there is no mutual intelligibility with French or the other Romance languages. There are approximately 300,000 speakers of Luxembourgish worldwide.

The Luxembourgish alphabet contains the 26 Latin letters, plus the letters "é", "ä", and "ë". In loanwords from French and German, the original diacritics are usually preserved.
