Marla Schulman
President, Schreiber Translations, Inc.
As President of Schreiber Translations, Inc. (STI), one of the leading language services companies in the U.S., Marla Schulman has over 20 years of management experience in the language services industry. Under her leadership, STI, which provides translation, interpretation, foreign language desktop publishing and localization services in more than 100 languages, has grown 25% over the last decade. Ms. Schulman has competed for and won some of the largest translation contracts issued by U.S. government agencies and private firms, such as NASA, the Social Security Administration, U.S. Department of Veterans' Affairs and Shearman & Sterling. She has demonstrated a strong track-record of commitment to the field of translation and interpretation. She also works closely with the Association of Language Companies (ALC), an organization to which STI belongs as a Charter Member, and for which Ms. Schulman has served as President. In addition to her work at STI and in the language services industry, she is also board member of B’nai Israel Congregation, and a board member of the Montgomery County Multiple Sclerosis Center.
Mit Shattuck
Chief Operating Officer, Schreiber Translations, Inc.
Mit Shattuck is the Chief Operating Officer for STI. Mit has more than 20 years of international business experience, including 15 years in the translation and localization industry. Having lived and worked in Europe, Asia and South America during his career with the U.S. Army, Mit has considerable experience managing language services and cultural diversity, while transacting in the global business environment. His experience includes Private Sector and Federal Government work domestic and abroad, including 5 years working with WeLocalize, Inc. as the Vice President of Global Operations.
