Proposals and Contracts Manager__________

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Proposals and Contracts Manager (PCM) works on the overall growth of the company by managing all procurement activities. This includes managing our contract bidding process, writing proposals (with the help of internal subject matter experts), and maintaining contract renewals. It also includes seeking ways to expand our client base in government at the federal, state, and local levels. The PCM can look for ways to optimize our procurement processes. This is not a salesperson position. But you will lead our growth efforts related to finding contract opportunities, strategizing, and following up on them. As the Proposals and Contracts Manager, you will report to our Managing Director, and work with key staff in other departments as needed.

(NOTE: In response to the pandemic, Schreiber Translations is currently fully remote. We are still developing our long-term work plan. But we are open to candidates interested in all work styles, from in office to fully remote.)


QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

  • minimum of 3 years full-time work experience

To Succeed in the Position:

Project Manager__________

ABOUT THE POSITION

Project Managers (PM) at Schreiber Translations perform all aspects of project management for translation, interpretation, and other language services projects from start to finish, including: communicating with clients to accept and begin requests; following client requirements and timetables; setting project guidelines; scheduling, assigning, and reviewing the translators' work; troubleshooting/problem-solving client and translator issues; and following profit margin policies and strategy. You will work with Program Managers and leadership in the Operations department, as well as with other departments in the company. This is an entry-level job at our company, but it requires autonomy and the ability to manage yourself well.

Come work with clients all over the DC area and the country who need to communicate with people in many other languages. Work with professional translators and interpreters in every language and from every culture all over the world.
