Project Manager

The Project Manager coordinates all aspects of linguistic projects from start to finish, including: adhering to project/client requirements; assigning translators/interpreters; performing quality checks; managing cost; setting guidelines, schedule and timetables; troubleshooting/problem-solving client and linguist issues; communicating with/managing linguistic resources; performing grammatical review of translated English document when applicable for translation projects; and reporting on project status.

We seek:

  • Dependable, hardworking, and intelligent individual;

  • Ability to multi-task meet deadlines and work well under pressure;

  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with a wide variety of linguists and clients;

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent;

  • Language-related experience and/or education;

  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat;

  • Strong organizational and time management skills;

  • Ability to pass a government background investigation.


    Document Review/Production Assistants -Part time

    This position assists our document translation process primarily by reviewing translated documents for completeness, grammatical quality, and compliance with client requirements. The Production Assistant thus provides a quality control review with a particular focus on formatting and content, and is responsible for supporting the Operations team with other tasks as they relate to project management.

    We seek:

  • Advanced written communication skills;

  • Language-related background or demonstrated interest;

  • Advanced computer skills;

  • Strong attention to detail;

  • Ability to pass a government background investigation.


    Future Openings:

    Resource Manager

    The Resource Manager is responsible for all activities related to the establishment and successful management of company's linguist program. General responsibilities include: participating in industry events and job fairs; recruiting through various outreach and communication methods, testing, reference checking, and negotiation activities; ongoing linguist assessment and feedback; building and enhancing systems for effective vendor collaboration; tracking, utilization, and effective use of resources; supporting business development initiatives; performing background paperwork logistics; and assisting with human resources and security projects and events.This position works independently but is part of a Resource Management team.

      We seek:

  • Someone with very strong organizational and time management skills and creativity to think outside the box;

  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities;

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent;

  • Language-related experience and/or education;

  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat;

  • Ability to pass a government background investigation is a necessity for this position.

    Location:

    Our office is located at 51 Monroe Street Rockville, MD (right outside Washington DC) with a direct covered, elevated walkway to the Red Line Rockville Metro. We are a quick walk to Rockville Town Center, which has over 25 unique locally owned shops and restaurants, Rockville Regal Movie Theater, the Rockville Memorial Library, and a pedestrian-friendly Town Square.
